MOJO: Pitch Festival
Pitch Festival is a two-day electronic music festival held in the Westerpark in Amsterdam. It was launched in 2011 by MOJO. We were asked to develop the brand and provide MOJO with the means to market the event.
What we did:
logo
The music festival market is a glocal market, where hundreds of local initiatives compete for the attention and affections of an international audience. We took our inspiration for the visual identity from international folk cultures. We aimed to design a brand that would stand out in the 2011 glocal image of dance festivals: artistic iconography, minimalistic graphics and provocative colours.

Both editions of the festival sold out, with 4,000 tickets sold in 2011 and 7,500 in 2012. The 2011 Pitch website was awarded a Dope Award in May 2011, while the 2012 identity was featured by influential design media like Fontanel, Ajanaku and Items.
