Walk The Line Festival
Walk the Line is an international music festival that features up and coming artists performing in several intimate locations in The Hague. We were asked to develop the brand and to provide the organisation with the means to market the event.
What we did:
Walk The Line has been presenting the freshest international music talent in The Hague since 2010. As they’re positioned outside the mainstream, we decided to represent their leftfield status by using friendly, energetic, abstract illustrations against a white background to create an accessible, but unconventional look.
As a marketing tool we developed an online building dock that allowed visitors to play with the illustrations on the website. You could rearrange the graphics, animate them then share the result on Facebook or Twitter.
The website was awarded FWA site of the day in March 2010 and received a honourable mention from the Webby jury in 2011 in the category Best Practices.
